A little Touch of Tuscany 2007

On Sunday 4th November approx. 160 people enjoyed a fine musical performance of Sebastian the Fox narrated by Ken Edmunds, together with a romantic program of chamber music by Schubert, Kodaly and Ysaye.

Melbourne Symphony Orchestra musicians Miranda Brockman (cello), Alison Rayner (violin) and Rosia Pasteur (viola) were joined by renowned classical guitarist Jochen Schubert and flautist Stephen Brockman to perform this unique program of musical gems.

The event raised $3,000 which will be donated to the new E.W Tipping Foundation Respite Facility being built in Bacchus Marsh, to benefit families caring for someone with a disability.

Bacchus Hill Winery generously hosted the event and provided fingerfood and two glasses of wine as part of the ticket price.

Thank you to all those who were involved in making the event a success, especially club members Wendy Stubbs and Allan Morton.
